We are looking for anyone interested in participating in tribal citizen science during monitoring efforts in the 2014 sampling season. Sampling will take place in rocky intertidal, sandy beach and subtidal near shore habitats and will include methods such as seining, visual surveys, SCUBA surveys, hook and line fishing and other sampling techniques. Training will be provided on sampling methods and species identification.
If you have an interest in marine science, this is a great opportunity to gain experience and contribute to a very important study. So, if you’re interested please email our Marine Biologist, Rosa Laucci, for more information and she’ll put you on a mailing list to keep you updated on trainings and other opportunities.
