From Tribal Rights Employment Office (TERO)
An organization started created by Northwest Indian Tribes – Oregon Native American Business Entrepreneur Network (www.onaben.org) developed a twelve session curriculum for small business development. After participants complete this training ONABEN provides an array of products and services to Native businesses that start-up and for existing businesses. TERO would like to make this small business training program available to Smith River Rancheria members starting or already in business.
I need a few folks willing to commit for twelve sessions over a year’s time. The training spanning twelve months so people have time for hands-on use of skills taught in the sessions, and the opportunity for feedback from the curriculum. Even though the plan is to teach the sessions at the Casino in Smith River telecommuni-cation connections can be arranged for those out of the area. A timely reply is required because I need to make arrangements to attend a train-the-trainer course for implementing the curriculum.
