Entry-Level Carpentry Training
April 14, 2017 @ 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM PDT
Have you been wanting to learn a little bit about carpentry, but never knew where to start? Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) is offering an entry-level training in simple carpentry. This training will be going over basic math, that includes tape measure and board sizes, angles on wood for cutting, skill saw basics and cutting boards with angles on them.
This training will be very simple, covering the basics for people that want to know enough carpentry to walk on a job site and get a job. These skills will help any individuals either achieve employment or help with the honey-do list at home. The training will be held in the afternoon on April 14th from 1-4 pm at the Xaa-wan’-k’wvt Hall Community Center . If you are interested in this training, please let TERO know: call Zack at 707-487-9255 ext. 1165.
The TERO Department is here for the Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation Tribal Members so they are able to Gain & Sustain Employment. TERO can help the tribal citizens reach their goals of either employment or knowledge of a subject with the help from the members letting TERO know what kind of training the community needs. TERO Department is excited to see tribal members succeed and help people along their career path.
Looking forward to seeing everyone,
