The Waa-tr’vslh-‘a~ Department is holding our Dee-ni’ Mvsr-xee-ye’ Wee-ya’ Lhetlh-xat

(Dee-ni’ Language Youth Gathering), at Shaa-xu’-xat (Rowdy Creek Park), on Wednesday July 23rd  through Friday July 25th. This event will provide a safe and positive overnight camping experience for youth ages 7-13. Children under the age of 7 are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Participants will be introduced to Dee-ni’ language and cultural traditions and have the opportunity to participate in activities that promote healthy lifestyle choices.  

 

Completed applications must be received by Monday July 11th (before 5 PM) at the K’vsh-chu Administration Office.

All registered participants are expected to fully participate for the duration of this event.  This is a tobacco, alcohol and drug-free event. Preference will be given to Smith River Rancheria Tribal Members and persons of American Indian Descent. To register for camp, please complete a Participant Application. Applications are available at : K’vsh-chu Administration Office or you can download camp registration here
