The Xaa-wan’-k’wvt Village & Resort (old Ship Ashore) RV Park located at 12370 Highway 101 North in Smith River, has been opened for any and all people who have been displaced during the evacuation. RVs, campers, tents, etc. are welcome but please check-in first at the Rec Hall building with the shelter coordinator and/or volunteers so they can get you settled in.

Volunteers are also desperately needed for the shelter. They are asking for volunteers to work 4 hour shifts to provide relief to current volunteers. During the shift you will be directing evacuees as they check into the shelter and distributing food/water. If you are unable to work a 4 hour shift any amount of time is greatly appreciated.
