SERVICES NEEDED The Nation is seeking groups or individual(s) to perform one or more of the following professional service activities:
Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation is seeking persons to perform services for upcoming events, related to Dee-ni' Day & Dee-ni' Night, September 9 & 10, 2022. We invite proposals from qualified & interested persons for the following services:
- Traditional Salmon Cook- Dee-ni’ Night. Awarded contractor will provide all fish, sticks, wood, fire, seasonings, etc, to prepare salmon, traditionally, over fire, for 240 guests. Dinner at 5:30pm.
- Traditional Salmon Cook- Dee-ni' Day. Awarded contractor will provide all fish, sticks, wood, seasonings, etc, to prepare salmon, traditionally, over fire, providing samples for folks throughout the day, from 12pm – 4pm.
- Traditional Sand Bread Cook-Dee-ni' Day. Awarded contractor will provide everything necessary to demonstrate sand bread cooking, providing samples of bread throughout the day, 12pm -4pm. Awarded contractor to provide all sand bread dough, condiments, paddles, wood, fire, rocks, etc.
- Stick Game Organizer- Dee-ni' Day. Awarded contractor will organize stick game tournament and/or scrimmage, including coordination with Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation Staff on development of gameplay rules that will be applied to various ages and brackets. Contractor will also work with Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation staff on marketing, participation recruitment and registration. Contractor will also provide supplies and day of game facilitation. *Note that Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation traditions include both men and women stick games.

BID PROPOSAL: Provide a total fee for total services, including required labor, materials/supplies and transportation. Proposals may include a more detailed line item breakdown for cost clarification or justification, but it is not required. If proposing a Food Service, a food handler’s certification should be reflected within the bid. Additional information – Applicants may submit additional information relevant to project or their work, if desired. Additional information is not required as part of the application but a sample of previous work is strongly encouraged.

NATIVE PREFERENCE: As appropriate, include documentation that the Consultant is Native American, a Native American Owned business or employs key employees as defined under the Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO).
