Indian Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG), Fiscal Year 2013

The Smith River Rancheria (SRR) will apply to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development for funding in the amount of $605,000 under the ICDBG category of Land Acquisition to Support New Housing. One of the eligible activities in the category is to purchase existing homes.

The Tribe currently has a waiting list that consists of 45 tribal member families for the rental housing program. Our goal is to purchase existing homes and assist up to 6 families with this grant.

One of the requirements for the application is to provide notice of our intent to apply for the block grant and what the program will accomplish.
