The Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation is a federally recognized Indian Tribe of Tolowa Indians. The Rancheria is located 3 miles south of the Oregon-California border in Northwest California. The Tribe’s general membership consists of over 1,609 members.
The Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation is led by a Tribal Council – comprised of seven tribal members who have been elected by the general membership. Tribal Council members are:
Scott D. Sullivan, Chairperson; Denise Richards-Padgette, Vice Chairperson; Jeri Thompson, Secretary; Leann McCallum, Treasurer; Dr. Joseph Giovannetti, Marvin Richards Sr, Kara Brundin-Miller, Council members.
The Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation Tribal Court is here to serve the needs of our Tolowa Community by serving all of the members of the Tolowa Dee-ni Nation.
The Tribal Gaming Agency (TGA) was established by the Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation Tribal Council as an independent regulatory body to regulate gaming operations on the Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation. The TGA consists of five (5) Commissioners, appointed by the Tribal Council, five (5) full time staff members and a Surveillance Department of eight (8) employees. The Gaming Commissioners meet monthly at regular scheduled meetings.
