Salmon Cooking Workshop
Attention Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation Citizens:
The Shu’-‘aa-xuu-dvn (In A Good Way Place) Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Program and Si~s-xa Netlh-‘i~ Program would like to invite you to join us for a family centered, salmon cooking workshop. At this workshop you will learn about domestic violence/sexual assault services offered by the Shu’-‘aa-xuu-dvn program, the biology of our local salmon, how to carve cooking sticks, clean/prepare the salmon, and cook the salmon. After the completion of the workshop, families will enjoy a salmon lunch together. Pre-registration is required to ensure we have a sufficient amount of fish, materials and supplies for participants.
