Mission
The Smith River Rancheria intends to develop appropriate housing opportunities for all Native Americans of Federally Recognized Tribes with preference given to its Smith River Rancherai (SRR) members who reside in Del Norte and Humboldt counties in the State of California and Curry, Coos and Josephine Counties in the State of Oregon. These opportunities shall be tailored to meet the needs and circumstances of all Native Americans with preference given to SRR members and shall consist of ownership, rental, and Tribally owned units. The Rancheria shall endeavor to expand its land base in order to provide the needed housing opportunities.
