TERO
“The mission of the Office of TERO at the Smith River Rancheria is to help improve the quality of life for our Tribal members and other Native American families.  This will be accomplished through opportunities that can assist them in pursuing quality jobs or careers with livable wages.  The role of TERO is also to protect the tribal rights of preferential employment, training, and business and economic opportunities on or near the Smith River Rancheria.  TERO works actively in the business community in achieving compliance with hiring Native American qualified workers.” Darrell Moorehead

Grants & Contracts
”The purpose of the Grants and Contracts Office is to support creativity and innovation in identifying and addressing the identified needs of the Smith River Rancheria Departments and Programs. It is important to emphasize the need for adequate planning and quality control in all activities relating to administering grants that involve the resources and personnel of the Smith River Rancheria. Projects funded in whole or in part with grant money should not be created simply in reaction to a notice of availability of funds, whatever the source.” ~ Cassandra Mitchell
