DEE-NI’ MVSR-XEE-YA’ WEE-YA’ LHETLH-XAT
The Waa-tr’vslh-‘a~ Department is holding our annual Dee-ni’ Mvsr-xee-ye’ Wee-ya’ Lhetlh-xat (Dee-ni’ Language Youth Gathering), at Shaa-xu’-xat (Rowdy Creek Park), on Wednesday June 17th through Friday June 19th. This event will provide a safe and positive overnight camping experience to encourage culture and language use amongst youth. Campers will also have the opportunity to participate in activities that promote healthy lifestyle choices. Youth ages 7-13 are encouraged to attend camp, children under the age of 7 may attend when accompanied by an adult.

All registered participants are expected to fully participate for the duration of this event. This is a tobacco, alcohol and drug-free event. Preference will be given to Smith River Rancheria Tribal Members and persons of American Indian Descent. To register for camp, please complete a Participant Application.
