In 1996, the Tolowa Tribe of the Smith River Rancheria opened the Lucky 7 Casino launching the opportunity for other enterprises to be established. Today the Smith River Rancheria members are proud of the businesses they have put in place. 

With these businesses the Tribe has been able to develop the resources to support the Tribal Government and the Tribal Community.  In turn, the Tribe has also been able to work with neighboring governments and civic organizations to make our community strong and vibrant.
