Indian Farmer and Rancher Settlement
Posted: November 14th, 2011 11:25pm
Did you know that only 2,500 of the anticipated 10,000 Indian farmers and ranchers have filed a claim on the Keepseagle Settlement? Did you know that individual claims can be up to $50,000?
We need your help to spread the word. Many Indian ranchers and farmers were discriminated against by the USDA Farm Loan Program between 1981 and 1999. We need to reach out to those individuals and provide them with information on what to do, including information on how to access free legal help to file a claim.
Please share this information with your tribal members. The deadline to file a claim is December 27, 2011.
